Day-one setup
- Sign up. It takes 60 seconds.
- Import your customers from a spreadsheet file (CSV) or paste them in from your current tool.
- Register your cans with size, type, and the number painted on the side, under Can fleet.
- Add your trucks and drivers under Settings, then Fleet & drivers.
- Set your prices: one base per can size, plus what an extra day or extra ton costs.
Can fleet basics
- Every can has a status: in yard, on site, on truck, or in repair.
- Delivery puts it on a site and starts the rental clock, the count of days the can is out.
- Swaps and pickups move it back through the truck to the yard.
- The fleet board shows where every can is right now, so you know what is free before you promise it.
Orders & dispatch
- Take the order: size, debris type, placement, delivery date.
- Dispatch assigns the trip to a truck-day: delivery, swap, pickup, or relocation.
- Route optimization sequences the day's runs.
- The driver app shows each stop with site notes and placement photos.
Scale tickets & overages
- The driver dumps the can and photographs the scale ticket.
- Enter the tons, and the app bills anything over the weight the rental included.
- The extra-weight charge lands on the invoice with the ticket photo attached.
- Dump fees log per haul, so you can see what each haul really made after costs.
Rental days & extensions
- The base price includes a set number of rental days.
- The dashboard flags cans running past their included days.
- Extra days bill at your rate, added up automatically.
- Customer wants it longer? Extend in two taps; billing follows.
Contractor accounts
- Flag a customer as contractor, builder, or property manager.
- Set a standing swap schedule per job site: weekly, biweekly, or on-call.
- Swaps create themselves on schedule, no reminder texts needed.
- Roll the month into one combined bill per account.
Billing without leaks
- Scale tickets, tons, and photos are collected when a trip is marked done.
- Exceptions lists closed-not-invoiced orders, active rentals, missing POs, missing tons, and orders with no price.
- One click turns a clean rental into an invoice with every line on it.
- The quote, the order, and the invoice stay linked on the customer's page.
Your data, your org
- Every record belongs to your organization.
- No other company can ever see your data. That is built in, not a setting.
- Roles: Owner, Dispatcher, Driver, Bookkeeper. Each sees what the job needs.
- Every billing and permission change is logged in the audit trail.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Getting started
How long does setup take?
About an hour, and you do not need to be technical. If you can send an email and take a photo on your phone, you can run this. Sign up, bring in your customer list, register your cans, set your prices, and book your first order. A checklist on your home screen walks you through each step in order.
Can I bring my data from Docket, ServiceCore, or a spreadsheet?
Yes. Every tool has a way to download your customer list as a spreadsheet file (usually called a CSV). Download that file, drop it into our import wizard, and it lines the columns up for you, shows you a preview of every row, and flags anything that looks like a duplicate before saving a thing. Customers, order history, and your can list all come over. CSV import is available from the import wizard; contact support if you need migration guidance.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. Sign up and run your real work in it. After 14 days, pick a plan, or do nothing and your account switches to view-only: you can still see everything, you just cannot book new work until you choose a plan.
I run the whole business myself. Is this overkill?
No. Solo operators use the same flow with fewer people: book the order in the office view, then run the trips from your phone in the driver app. The point is never entering the same order twice.
Do my drivers need training?
The driver app is a phone screen with big buttons: today's stops, placement notes, photos, scale ticket. The driver app uses a focused phone workflow, with tutorials for each field task.
Plans and billing
What do the truck and can limits on each tier mean?
Plans are sized by how many trucks you run and how many cans you register, not how many people log in. Add office staff and driver logins on any plan without paying extra per person.
Are there per-user fees or paid add-ons?
No. Every feature in your tier is included. The booking page and reminders are not sold separately.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are monthly and cancellation is self-serve in Settings. No calls, no retention scripts.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can download a complete snapshot of every customer, order, invoice, and ticket record before or after you cancel. Your data is never held hostage.
Rentals and dispatch
How does the rental lifecycle work?
An order starts with a delivery. The day the can lands, the rental clock starts: that is the count of days the can has been out, and your base price includes a set number of them. If the project runs long, you swap cans as many times as needed, and the final pickup ends at the landfill scale. The rental keeps every trip, every day, and every charge together in one place.
Can customers book online?
Yes. Your booking page shows which can sizes are actually free for each delivery date, computed from your fleet and your schedule. The customer requests a size, address, and date, and you approve every request before it lands on a truck.
How do swaps work?
A swap is one trip that drops an empty can and hauls the full one. Book it from the rental, or set a standing cadence for contractor sites so swaps generate on their own.
What happens when a can sits past its included days?
Each day past the included period is an overage day: an extra rental day beyond what the base price covered. Those days bill automatically at the rate you set. The dashboard flags the can so nothing slips past you, and the extra days land on the invoice unless you choose to waive them.
How does tonnage-overage billing work?
Your base price includes a weight allowance in tons for each can size. When the driver dumps the can, the landfill scale prints a ticket with the real weight. The driver types in that number, and anything over the allowance becomes a line on the invoice automatically, with the ticket photo attached so nobody can argue with it.
What is a dry run and why bill it?
A dry run means you drove out and could not do the job: a blocked can, a locked gate, a can loaded over the rails. The trip cost you fuel and an hour either way. Log it as a dry run and the trip fee lands on the order, with the driver's photo as the reason it sticks.
Drivers in the field
Do drivers install anything from an app store?
No. The driver app runs in the phone browser and installs to the home screen in two taps. It works on any modern iPhone or Android.
What if there is no signal at the landfill?
The app keeps working. Tickets, photos, and trip updates save on the phone and sync when the truck is back in coverage.
What do drivers see?
Today's runs in route order with placement notes, gate codes, and can details. Drivers do not see pricing reports or business financials unless you give them a role that includes it.
How does scale-ticket capture work?
At the scale, the driver photographs the ticket and types in the ticket number, the tons, and the dump fee. If the load weighs more than the rental included, the extra charge computes on its own. Nobody does math in the truck.
What about placement disputes?
Placement photos on delivery and pickup, plus a record of whether protection boards went down. When the scratched-driveway call comes three weeks later, you have the pictures.
Your data
Who can see my business data?
Only the people you invite, scoped by role: Owner, Dispatcher, Driver, and Bookkeeper. Every record belongs to your organization and stays there.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. Daily backups on managed cloud infrastructure, and you can export your own snapshot anytime.
Can I export everything?
Yes. You can download all of it, customers, orders, invoices, and reports, as normal files you can open in Excel. Anytime, on every plan, no phone call required.
Do you sell my data or my customers' data?
No. Your customer list is yours. The privacy policy says the same thing in plain English.
Pricing
How does the free trial work?
Sign up, run your real work in it, take your time. No credit card needed. After 14 days, pick a plan, or your account switches to view-only until you do: your data stays put, you just cannot book new work.
Will you migrate my data?
Yes. Download your customer list from Docket, ServiceCore, or the spreadsheet you already keep (the file is usually a CSV, which is just a spreadsheet file). The import wizard matches the columns, previews every row, and flags duplicates before saving anything. Free on every plan, and we will help if you get stuck.
What counts as a truck or a can for tier limits?
A truck is any vehicle you dispatch trips to: roll-off, hook-lift, or a pickup with a dump trailer. A can is any container registered in your fleet. A truck that only sits in the yard does not count.
Do you charge for onboarding or setup?
No. Setup is something you do yourself in about an hour with the tutorials, and if you want help moving your data over, that help is included. There is no paid setup package.
Annual billing
Is there an annual discount?
Annual billing is coming; ask us and we will set it up.
Still stuck?
We answer email from real people who know the industry. Most replies land the same business day.
